As Recruiting Coordinator, Maria assists with a wide range of recruiting efforts within the Witt Mares Career Solutions team. She is actively involved in position marketing, candidate sourcing and profiling, as well as administrative efforts. Maria’s skill and dedication to the recruiting process contribute to the success of Witt Mares Career Solutions’ recruiters in delivering exceptional client service.
Maria’s educational background and professional experiences revolve around biological research and education. Having earned a Masters in Education from The University of Scranton, she particularly enjoys the underlying learning and teaching aspects of the recruiting process and welcomes new opportunities to work with diverse professionals. Her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Scranton and active hands-on experience in biological research have equipped her with knowledge of the research industry. Maria is extremely motivated to combine her interests in science and advanced technology with recruiting efforts focused on biotechnology and nanotechnology.
As part of her involvement in the community, Maria continues to take an interest in education. She actively supports science education by judging student junior academy of science competitions and sponsoring student research investigations.
